Windows Magnifier
Windows Magnifier can be particularly useful for tutors when using a data projector in class. You can increase the size of text which is too small for the students to read.
Launch Windows Magnifier from the Ease of Access Centre (Start Menu/Accessories) or use the Windows key and the plus key (see Magnifier page for details on using and customising Windows Magnifier). |

Dropbox
What is Dropbox? - "One place for all your stuff, wherever you are."
Dropbox is a home for all your photos, documents, videos, and files. Anything you add to Dropbox will automatically show up on all your computers, phones and even the Dropbox website — so you can access your stuff from anywhere.
Dropbox makes sharing easy. Invite your friends, students, and colleagues to any folder in your Dropbox, and it'll be as if you saved that folder straight to their computer. You can send people links to specific files, photos, and folders in your Dropbox, too. This makes Dropbox perfect for team projects, sharing photos or documents.
Even if your computer has a meltdown, your stuff is always safe in Dropbox and can be restored easily. Dropbox is like a time machine that lets you undo mistakes and even undelete files you accidentally delete.
Dropbox can be installed on your home computer (not a good idea at work) and you will then see a dropbox folder with all your files in Windows Explorer. When you edit a document in this folder it will automatically sync with the same document in the "cloud".

Guidelines to help with Dyslexia students
For people with dyslexia, the ability to read and
understand text can be affected by the way in which text has been written and
produced. If you are producing
information to be read by others, it is important to remember that up to 10% of
your readers may have dyslexia. Dyslexia
friendly text will have improved readability and better visual impact for all
readers, but especially those with dyslexia. Click here to read more.
